The wooden axe is handmade from durable birch wood. The colour of the axe head comes from careful burning and is not painted. The handle is wrapped with faux leather and natural fibre. In designing the axe, we drew inspiration both from the real Dane axes the Vikings used and from finds of wooden toys from the Viking Age.

Made in Ukraine from European birch wood.

The Dane axe is perhaps the most famous of the Vikings' weapons. And it was also the axe that gave the Vikings their superiority on every battlefield. A must for every little Viking warrior of true calibre.

Care

All wood dries out over time. It can therefore be good to treat with wood oil once or twice a year to maintain the luster.
