This heart-shaped charm has a ball with a bell inside. The bell has a soft chime like silver bells. Popular as a gift for expecting mothers, but also used as stress-relieving jewellery, or simply because it's beautiful. The heart can be opened so you can take out the bell and replace it with something else. It's said that the baby in the womb hears the bell and is soothed. And that after birth, the baby recognises the sound and finds it calming.

Legend has it that a group of good elves fled into the forest thousands of years ago, where they lived in a safe place - away from danger and evil.
Thanks to their friendship with the angels, they were given a piece of jewellery containing a small bell - as a symbol of protection and love.

During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in different proportions to get the same gold-like color that brass has.

You can easily polish the jewelry with brass or silver polish.
