This ring is designed as an open band around the finger. Here we have taken inspiration from the myths surrounding the Viking Age sorceresses, the Völvor. In graves believed to belong to Völvor, staffs have been found with metal pendants. Here we take such a pendant and reshape it into a ring. The brass is soft and flexible enough that the ring can be adjusted in size as needed.

All our brass jewelry is nickel- and cadmium-free and handmade by skilled craftsmen.

Materials: Brass and silver plated brass
Size: Customizable. In the picture, about 2 cm in diameter.
All Nordly's jewelery is nickel and cadmium free. Today, brass is a mixture of copper and zinc.
During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in different proportions to get the same gold-like color that brass has.

Care

Silver oxidizes over time, you can easily polish the earrings with silver polish. This can be bought at most grocery stores.
