Vikings sword The Valleys of the Kings

The original of this sword was found in Dalarna, Sollerön parish. It is roughly 3 miles south of Mora. The sword is dated to 800-1100 AD
The sword was found in a burial mound 13.5 m wide, with cremation remains and 2 spearheads, 13 arrowheads, an ax and shield as well as comb, scabbard and a belt buckle in the style of those found in Russia and Ukraine. Along with the warrior were also two secondary graves, one of which is interpreted as a sacrifice and the other is interpreted as a later burial in the same burial mound. It was a woman cremated and buried with oval clasp buckles, bronze ring clasp and 3 bangles.
The sword is Petersen's type Z.
As the sword is not blunt (does not have a rounded egg), it is not recommended for combat, but intended for collectors, for decorative or ceremonial purposes.
