The second book in the series of three books dealing with the style and design of the Vikings. In this edition, you will find in the first part patterns from two different Viking Age objects, the Cammin and Bamberg caskets. In the second part there is a collection of simpler patterns from Slavic and North Germanic objects from the Viking Age. At the back of the book there is also an index with a description of where the original comes from, from which time period and from which object it was taken
