The Tree of Life, Arbor vitae (Latin), appears in several cultures and goes by different names. In Old Norse mythology it is referred to as Yggdrasil and is the central point of the Vikings' worldview; its branches bound together the different worlds and creation as a whole.

Size: Height approx. 45mm, width 35mm
Silver plating means that the brass is silver coated with a layer of silver on the surface.
All Nordly's jewelery is nickel and cadmium free. Today, brass is a mixture of copper and zinc.
During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in different proportions to get the same gold-like color that brass has.</p>

Care

Brass oxidizes over time. You can easily polish the earrings with brass polish. This can be purchased at most grocery stores.
