Rustic iron nail. Looks like a hand-forged nail with the traditional cross pattern on the head. Perfect for renovating old houses, building a wooden chest, or simply for hanging your cardigan on. May have some surface rust. Made in France.

The nail is 50 mm long with a head that is approx. 11 mm in diameter. The nail thickness beneath the head is approx. 3 mm.

Care

Wrought iron is made of iron which is sensitive to moisture and can rust.
To prevent that, we at Nordlys have rust-protected all our forged products.
Even so, moisture can creep in and the forging can eventually rust.
To prevent this, dry your items if they get wet and store them dry when not in use.
After all, should a little rust appear over time, you can easily sand it off and put on some youth black as a protective film.
