Gjermundbu Viking helmet
This handmade high quality replica of the Gjermundbu helmet, is forged like the original and can be used for full contact historical fencing. We have given the helmet a design as close to the original as possible, but have made small changes to some of the manufacturing features to improve the safety. One of those changes is that the helmet is both welded and riveted. A second is that the top spike is less pointy and wider at the base.
The helmet is also marked with our Nordlys™ “forgers mark”, ensuring the quality and proving the quality as an original from our forge. Tested and guaranteed for heavy fighting.
