Red wasp pearl
Birka
A so-called wasp pearl, red with yellow spirals, the original was found on Björkö (Birka), Sweden. From the second half of the 7th century.
All of our historical glass beads are copies of originals from the respective time period. Handmade using the same methods as the originals. You melt and wrap the glass around a steel stick dipped in pipe clay. Then the bead is decorated with more molten glass in different colors while slowly spinning the stick.
The price is per piece for the pearls unless otherwise stated.
