Horn crafts

Kohorn is an amazing material that until about 100 years ago
was widely used for many things.
When the plastic came, it replaced horns in many objects of use
traditionally made by hand.
In the past, they did e.g. spoons,
chambers, glasses arches and shoe horns in the horn.
Our horn products are manufactured by hand with great craftsmanship in a small village in northeastern India. The horns are cleaned, sorted, boiled and sanded before they are formed into beautiful crafts.
Horn is very strong and complete
compostable, a sustainable material, both for you and the environment. All the horns used in Nordly’s production are a residual product from the meat industry and come from tambos.
