A sword scabbard for your sword. Handmade sword scabbard with a wooden core, covered with leather and decorated with brass fittings and black leather cord. The Viking warrior traditionally carried their sword in two belts, one across the chest and one around the waist. This was to distribute the weight of the sword; these ran through a bracket on the scabbard called a belt bridge. And just like on the originals, the belt bridge is made of wood.

The scabbard is made for swords where the blade is a maximum of 68 cm long. Maximum blade width at the hilt is 5 cm.

The scabbard is made for swords where the blade is at most 67 cm long. Maximum width of the blade at the crossguard is 5 cm.

Care

Leather and wood are sensitive to moisture. Store in a dry place. Condition the leather once a year with leather conditioner. Available at shoe stores.
