Cow horn is a fantastic material that until about 100 years ago användes flitigt till många saker.
When plastic came along, it replaced horn in many everyday items that were traditionally handcrafted.
In the past, spoons, combs, eyeglasss frames, and shoehorns were made from horn.
Our horn products are made by a 3rd generation family business in Uttar Pradesh, India. There, the cow is considered sacred and no part may go to waste during slaughter. The horns are cleaned, sorted, boiled, and polished before being shaped. Horn is very strong and fully compostable — a sustainable material for both you and the environment.

Horn is a very durable and long-lasting material. If you want to clean or wash your horn products, simply use warm water and dish soap. If you clean with degreasing agents such as dish soap often, and to extend the already long lifespan of horn, you can also oil the horn with wood oil intended for kitchen utensils, or a little olive oil.
