Measurements & Materials

Dimensions: Height 30mm, width 18mm
Material: Brass, silver-plated and semi-precious stone

Silver plating means that the brass is coated with a layer of silver on the surface.
All Nordlys jewellery is nickel and cadmium-free.
Brass today is a mixture of copper and zinc.
During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in various proportions to achieve the same gold-like colour as brass.

Care

Silver and brass oxidize over time.
You can easily polish the jewelry with brass or silver polish.
This can be purchased in most grocery stores.
