Nornir destiny bracelet
This braclet is, like the Norns, made up of a set of three. One for the past, one for the present and one for the future. One bracelet is made with small, white beads of natural ox bone. The second is made with beads of wood braided with natural fiber. And the third is a plain thick braid of leather. The bracelets are fastened with a loop around different kinds of buttons.
The length of two of the bracelets is approx. 21 cm, the third is adjustable in length.
The bracelet is one in a series of Viking inspired leather bracelets, designed by us at Nordlys. From the times of the Vikings, very few artefacts in leather have survived. In the absence of finds, we have designed our own collection of Nordic heathen bracelets. We have given them a pagan feeling that is suitable for the "modern" Viking.
The metal is free from nickel and cadmium. All the leather is vegetable tanned, made from the hide of cattle.
