Horn items should be hand washed with water and dish soap. They should not be washed in a dishwasher and do not tolerate microwaves. Horn is a natural material that shares many properties with wood. It can therefore dry out over time. Treat with wood oil as needed or once or twice a year as a preventive measure. For items that will come in contact with food, we recommend using a wood oil intended for kitchen utensils or similar.
