A scabbard fit for a king, decorated with a beautifully matching set of handmade throat and chape. Handmade the same way the Vikings made scabbards 1000 years ago. The scabbard has a wooden interior and a hand-carved belt bridge in wood. The body is clad in black leather and decorated with blood-red leather bands and cap inlays. The medallion and chape have intricate, detailed designs from the Viking Age and are hand-cast in bronze. The belt and baldric are held by a dark wooden bridge, just as in the originals.

Made to fit a blade that is 70 cm long and up to 5 cm wide at the base.

Care

Leather and wood are sensitive to moisture. Store in a dry place. Condition the leather once a year with leather conditioner. Available at shoe stores.
