Earrings shaped as the ancient symbol Triskele. Handmade in gold-coloured brass with a silver-plated version available. The Triskele is a representation of the magical number three, which recurs in many ways in mythology and legend. The three Norns are a well-known example. The Norns represent past, present and future. Here there is also a parallel to the phases of life. The Vikings are also said to have believed in a form of self-created karma, in which what you give out in life comes back threefold.

Material: Brass Size: Height incl. hook 45mm, width 40mm.
Silver-plated means that the surface of the jewelery has been silver coated with a thin layer of silver.
All Nordly's jewelery is nickel and cadmium free.
Today, brass is a mixture of copper and zinc.
During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in different proportions to get the same gold-like color that brass has.

Care

Brass can oxidize slightly over time and become darker. Simply polish it with a polishing cloth and regular polish, which you can find at grocery stores.
