Once the right cow horn has been found, the many hours-long process of cutting, grinding and polishing begins. Each horn's unique colour and shape, combined with the craftsman's skill and the power of the motif, creates a unique masterpiece of a quality rarely seen today.

The outside of the mug has been shaped, hand-carved, ground and polished for many hours to achieve its final appearance and high-gloss finish, while the inside has been polished and sealed with a special lacquer approved for food containers.

A horn stand is not included with this product but can be purchased separately. A 70 mm horn stand fits.
