Gotland pendant with Rock Crystal. Available in two variants, one gold-colored and one silver-colored. A beloved child has many names. This piece of jewelry is in its original form over 1000 years old. It is called Gotland pendant, Frejakula, Gotlandskula, or Fröjelkula after one of the find sites, Fröjel in Gotland.
Leather cord or chain, not included. Sold separately.
Please note that we use genuine Rock Crystal in our pendants. This means that natural impurities, prisms, small internal cracks, and similar features are to be expected. The stone is of high quality with good opacity, but differs significantly from glass.
Our Fröjel balls are as popular now as they were 1000 years ago. The inspiration for these pieces of jewelry is drawn from several different originals from Viking-age Gotland. The original version is in silver with rock crystal and has been found in several sizes. Our version is handmade in brass and is also available in a silver-plated edition. All the stones are genuine semi-precious stones. The jewelry is of course nickel-free.
