Dane axe, wood toy

Our Viking axe, also called a dane axe, is hand-carved from durable wood and is polished with wax. The ax head's color comes from careful burning and is not painted. The handle is wrapped with faux leather and natural fiber. In the design of the axe, we have been inspired both by the real Dane axes the Vikings used, but also by finds of wooden toys from the Viking Age.

The dana axe is perhaps the most famous of the Vikings' weapons. And it was also the axe that gave the Vikings their superiority on all battlefields. A must have for any small Viking warrior of caliber.
