Set of four beautiful whisky glasses made from horn with a natural finish. The glasses' fine proportions and natural colour variations make them an eye-catcher in any setting. The feel of horn gives a warm, natural impression with a soft feel when drinking. Horn's natural properties also make it insulating, which helps keep your drink at an even temperature. The glass is somewhat wide in relation to its height, which has been popular for whisky in recent years. The base is made of wood and carefully fitted to the horn, pressed into place with heat.

Material: Cow horn, wood. Glued and sealed with modern glue suited for the purpose.

Cow horn is a fantastic material that, until about 100 years ago, was widely used for many things.
When plastic arrived, it replaced horn in many everyday items that had traditionally been made by hand.
In the past, people made spoons, combs and shoehorns, among other things, from horn.

Horn is very strong and fully compostable, a sustainable material for both you and the environment. All horn used in Nordlys production is a by-product of the meat industry and comes from livestock.

Our horn products are handmade with great craftsmanship in a small village in northeastern India. The horns are cleaned, sorted, boiled and polished before being shaped into beautiful craftwork.
