This larger pendant is a striking piece of jewellery with an airy design that keeps it from being too heavy to wear while still standing out nicely. Cord or chain purchased separately.
The symbolism is ancient and carries several meanings. The triskele symbol is known, among other things, as Odin's horn, where it represents three drinking horns. There is a story behind this symbol. Odin came to the giantess Gunnlöð to drink the mead of poetry (skáldskaparmjöðr). He negotiated for three nights to gain three sips of the mead. For the Vikings, the number three held important symbolism and was associated with several magical powers.
Leather cord or chain not included. Sold separately.
