A beautiful drinking horn, decorated with engraving and brass details. Just as suitable for a party as on the bookshelf. A good size to use as a mead horn. Please note that horn is a natural material and that all horns are unique in shape and colour. All our drinking horns are lacquered on the inside.

Size: Holds approximately 3 deciliters
Cow horn is a wonderful material that, until about 100 years ago, was widely used for many things. When plastic arrived, it replaced horn in many everyday objects that had traditionally been made by hand. In the past, items such as spoons, combs, eyeglass frames and shoehorns were made from horn. Our horn products are made by a third-generation family business in Uttar Pradesh, India. There, the cow is considered sacred and no part is allowed to go to waste at slaughter. The horns are cleaned, sorted, boiled and polished before they are shaped. Horn is very strong and fully compostable — a sustainable material, both for you and the environment.
