Impress anyone with this unique hand-carved drinking horn featuring a carved dragon in typical Urnes style.

Once the right horn is found, the many hours-long process of cutting, sanding, and polishing begins. Each horn's unique color and shape, combined with the craftsman's skill and the motif's power, creates a unique masterpiece of a quality rarely seen today.

The outside of the mug has been shaped, hand-carved, sanded, and polished for many hours to achieve its final appearance and high-gloss finish. Meanwhile, the inside has been polished and sealed with a special coating approved for food containers.

The horn stand is not included with this product but can be purchased separately. The 70 mm horn stand fits.

Holds approx. 500-700 ml

Care

Horn is a natural material that in its properties resembles wood. It should therefore not be washed in a dishwasher. Hand wash in warm water and use dish soap as needed. The horn may dry out over time, and can be treated with a little oil. Use the same type of oil you would use for wooden kitchen utensils.
