With this set of two beard beads you can easily make a cool beard braid. Start with the skull bead, braid, and finish with the slightly smaller bead.

If you're worried about whether the beads will stay in place, you can buy thin transparent hair ties at most stores with hair accessories. First thread on the bead, then add the elastic band, and then pull the bead down over the band.

Measurements & Materials

The skull bead is 12 mm long and the hole has a diameter of 4 mm.
The twisted bead is: 6 mm long and has a hole of 4 mm.

Material: Nickel-free silver-plated brass.

Care

Silver-plated brass and brass oxidize over time and become darker in color. To clean silver-plated brass gently, you can use baking soda, aluminum foil and boiling water. This chemical process removes oxidation (tarnish) without damaging the plating.
How to do it (baking soda and foil method):
Line a bowl with aluminum foil, shiny side up.
Place the item on the foil.
Sprinkle about 2-4 tablespoons of baking soda.
Pour boiling water over so it covers the item.
Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, or until the water has cooled.
Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth, polish lightly for shine.
