This ring is designed as an open band around the finger. We have allowed ourselves to be inspired here by the myths surrounding the Viking age sorceresses Völvorna. In graves believed to belong to Völvor, wands with metal pendants have been found. Here we take such a pendant and reshape it into a ring. The brass is soft and flexible enough that the ring can be adjusted in size as needed.
